Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte, one of the largest and most influential affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International, selected TelWare Corporation to be the organization’s telephone service provider.
In 2015, TelWare was one of several telecoms considered to replace Habitat Charlotte’s aging system. The non-profit’s existing phones were manufactured in the mid-1990s and installed in 2006 when Habitat moved into their Latrobe Drive offices. The new TelWare system will move Habitat from outdated technology to the latest in VoIP technology.
“We are excited about a long-term partnership with TelWare, as they come with glowing reviews from other companies who use them,” said Habitat Charlotte Controller Mike Masto. “In addition to proposing the best technical solution, as well as a competitive price, TelWare is providing a $2,500 in-kind contribution of equipment to Habitat Charlotte as part of their installation.”
The TelWare system also included Habitat Charlotte’s ReStore operation on N. Wendover Road and address the growing needs of the ReStore donation hotline.
